Join your neighbors and friends
and help raise money for Cribs for Kids®! Mark your
calendars now for Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, for this charity
motorcycle ride. One hundred percent of the proceeds from
this ride are used to purchase cribs for children in need or
to support the Gettysburg Health Foundation's Children's
Health Fund. Cribs for
Kids is a safe-sleep education program for babies at risk
and their families to help reduce the risk of injury and
death due to unsafe sleep environments.
Cribs for Kids programs
throughout the country provide a Graco Pack’n Play® crib and
educational material regarding “safe sleeping” and tips to
protect babies.
New New this year:
We will offer registration at
both York Renegade Classics and Battlefield Harley, to make
it convenient for both York and Gettysburg riders. Morning
light refreshments will be available at both starting
locations. This year’s ride will be in a poker-run format,
and will travel through York and Adams counties and will
conclude at the Bavarian Biker Barn in Shrewsbury, PA.
Prizes will be awarded to the person who raised the most
money and to the person holding the best poker hand. Many
other door prizes will be given out.
At the end of the ride. join
us for live music played by local band Krypton City Blues.
We will also feature small games of chance, such as 50/50
and jar games. Complimentary lunch will be provided by the
Bavarian Biker Barn for all paid participants.
This will be a rain or
shine event If your friends and family do not ride, have
them meet you at the end for great food, music, and games.
